Wishing all Father's a happy day!
I don't really believe this concept in Indian Culture, but in recent times this is relevant. Fathers being more busy and kids also busy with their gadgets. India has seen a tremendous change in recent years. Double income parents with less time spent with their kids.
I remember when I was a kid, the most cherishable moment was when my father took care of me 6 months when my younger brother was born and my mom had gone to my nani's place for delivery . My dad use to cook food for me and take to school with all the daily chores that my mom used to do. Such a patience he had and what a gentle father he was.Never once he shouted or yelled for doing some innocent wrongs or mischiefs. He used to polish our shoes, tie them and bind books when the school used to start after holidays.
Its only we started missing him in the high school when he got promoted and transferred to various places on his government duties. But he never shifted the base from Bengaluru for he believed that education is the most important decision in his kids lives.
We lost him quite early in our lives, till today we only have sweet memories with our DAD!
Oh DAD! what a wonderful father you have been and a great human being! For without you, we would not have achieved what we are today!
For all Fathers, a SALUTE!
